What are coach screws used for?
Hexagon head coach screws are mostly used in the building or construction trade for fixing into timber. Coach screws can also be used to fix into masonry using Nylon plugs. They are a much larger and heavy duty fixing compared to standard wood screws. These coach screws have a hexagon head and are driven into the wood using a socket or spanner.
Coach screws conform to DIN 571 standard, and are available in stainless steel or zinc plated.
